What is “Equipping for Ministry”?

       Equipping for ministry is our annual event to bring volunteers together for celebration, encouragement, a refresher of our guidelines, and equipping to help take your leadership to the next level! 

       We know that serving in any capacity can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not properly equipped. It’s our goal for this event to help solve that! This will be a very fun and helpful event for new and veteran volunteers alike.

What will the afternoon be like?

     The format of the afternoon is simple. First, lunch will be served and then everyone will gather together for an opening session. An encouraging message will be shared, some prizes will be given out, and we will cover some things that all volunteers need to know. After that we will break out into smaller groups according to the various areas of ministry that are offering training. 

12PM - 12:30PM:  Check-in and Registration.   Lunch will be served

12:30 - 1:30:  Large group and general training, with special guest speaker Rev. Renée Embree

1:30pm - 3pm:  Break out groups for your specific area of ministry.

I serve in multiple ministries. Which one do I register for?

       Thank you for your involvement! We recommend you register with EITHER the ministry you feel you are least equipped for, OR for the one in which you are newest.

Is attendance required?

       Yes. Our policies require a review of our safety standards every year. If you are unable to attend this event, please connect with Pastor Matt to arrange when the information can be reviewed with you at a later time.
