  • Riverkids

Our RiverKids team is made up of leaders who love children and want to help them know for certain how very much they are loved by God. Click here to see specific job descriptions and time commitments.

step 3: Volunteer application

All of our volunteers for youth and kids ministries must fill out a volunteer application form, read through our volunteer handbook, and provide a criminal record/vulnerable sector check. We have tried to make this easier with everything you need at the links below.

If you are completing your volunteer application, click here to let us know that you have read the handbook.

Still not sure?

  • A great way for you to know where God has gifted you to serve is to listen to those who know you best, and to book a time to chat with one of our pastoral staff--we love to recognize and call out gifts in you!

To help you consider where God might have gifted you, you can also check out this assessment, which will help you carefully consider different scenarios, and suggest where your gifts might lie. This is a printable pdf assessment with about 125 questions.

Most importantly, take time to pray! Our God is the Giver of good gifts, and wants to see you use them!

  • Absolutely!

This will vary from ministry to ministry, but wherever you choose to serve, you will not be in it alone!

We offer workshops, access to children and youth leadership conferences, regular planning/debriefing times, and the staff member for your area of ministry will be happy to schedule a meeting with you any time!

Once you have decided where you would like to serve, contact the staff member who oversees this area to find out about the support that will be available to you!

  • Our goal is that in the coming weeks, each ministry will have specific job descriptions with estimated weekly time commitments to help you make your decision, but in the mean time, any of our staff would be happy to chat with you about this!

We want you to be able to serve in an area that allows you to use your gifts, is fulfilling, and helps you to grow in your walk with Jesus, and would love to have you come "sample" different ministries for a week or two before you decide that you would like join the team!

We also recognize that different seasons of life afford us all different amounts of time. Whatever this season looks like for you, there is a place for you here. Contact one of our staff to find out where you might be a good fit!
